Business Development Manager (Remote – LATAM)

Independent role, flexible contractor, not full-time or part-time, English B2+, any gender, any age over 18. Monthly retainer + performance-based commissions (USD). 5+ years of experience.

💰 Compensation

Base Retainer: USD 1,000 monthly (independent contractor).

Note: The monthly retainer will not be affected as long as no more than two consecutive months pass without acquiring a new client.

Minimum Goal: Close at least 1 new client per month or 2 clients every 2 months.

🎯 Commissions

• 5% of the first payment on signed contracts.
  Example: If a contract is USD 100,000/month, commission = USD 5,000 (only first month).

• 5% bonus at the sixth month if the client remains active with SMAGLOB.

• 8% commission on the first payment from each client starting with the second client onwards, provided that contracts are signed within the same month.

All commissions are applied starting from the first payment of the following month.

📌 Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients in international markets.

• Present SMAGLOB’s full portfolio, Software Development, QA, Digital Transformation Consulting, Cloud, AI & Integrations.

• Build and negotiate business proposals ensuring company profitability.

• Draft and review contract terms with clients in collaboration with SMAGLOB’s leadership.

• Prepare and present weekly progress reports to the CEO (pipeline status, meetings held, client negotiations).

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, positioning SMAGLOB as a strategic partner (not just a vendor).

✅ Requirements

• Proven experience in business development / B2B sales in technology or consulting.

• English proficiency B2+ (spoken and written).

• Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication.

• Knowledge of software solutions, cloud platforms, QA and IT services.

• Ability to work remotely, independently, and with international clients.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies (preferred).
